For many years Cryselco have been advocating the benefits of energy saving High Frequency (HF) electronic gear, and we have now replaced all the more wasteful Switch Start (magnetic) ballasts from our ranges with High Frequency equivalents. Energy reductions can be up to 30% by replacing Switch Start magnetic ballasts with electronic High Frequency, and there can also be the benefit of improved lamp life.

Increasingly we are focusing on T5 lamp technology (which is only available with electronic ballasts).

Another area that has expanded greatly is the use of HF Electronic Dimming, enabling further savings on power consumption. Cryselco can supply Analogue (one to ten volt) Dimming, Switch Digital Dimming, DSI Dimming and DALI Dimming.

Cryselco only uses branded European gear, which complies with strict EC Directives to ensure consistent environmental standards.

Using optical systems designed with the latest computerised systems and high quality materials helps improve efficiency for Cryselco fittings. Accurate photometric data is available for Cryselco’s products allowing designers to maximise energy savings while allowing for a well lit environment.

We also take recycling seriously and are members of Lumicom, a membership organisation which supports and monitors lighting producers in their compliance with Waste Electronic and Electronic Equipment legislation. You can be sure that at the end of their working life Cryselco fittings will be safely disposed of, with substantial parts being recycled.

Cryselco strives to be environmentally friendly and therefore recycles much of the packing that is received from suppliers. In turn we believe that most of our packing can also be recycled helping save resources.
